Who we are

Funteg International Limited ("Funteg", "we", "us") is a freight forwarding, customs brokerage and logistics company incorporated in Nigeria. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit www.funteg.com, request a quote, or contact us. It refers to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, which sets out your rights over your personal data.

  • Form submissions (quote requests, shipment update requests, document requests and messages): our retention period is 24 months. After that, the personal information is removed from our records. A minimal record without personal information may remain for reporting.
  • Documents uploaded through our forms: our retention period is 12 months, after which they are deleted.
  • Emails sent to us by the forms are kept under our separate mailbox-retention policy.
  • Shipment, customs and accounting records for shipments you book: for as long as the law requires.
  • Server logs: for a short period, as set by our hosting provider, for security purposes.

How we protect it
