Can I get a quote before I buy the goods?
Yes, and it is the best time to ask. We can also advise on the Incoterm and the documents the purchase will need.

How does customs clearance work with Funteg?

How are import duties calculated?
Duties, taxes and levies are assessed by Nigeria Customs and depend on the goods, their value and their classification. Rates change, so ask us for current guidance and an estimate before your cargo ships.
Can you clear cargo shipped by another forwarder?
Yes. Our customs clearance service is available on its own. Send the bill of lading or air waybill and the invoice.

Can you move dangerous goods?
Dangerous goods, temperature-controlled cargo and pharmaceuticals are considered case by case, subject to carrier approval and applicable requirements. Tell us at quote stage and share the safety data sheet.
Can you arrange cargo insurance?
Cargo insurance can be arranged through an insurance provider on request. Share the cargo value and route when you ask for a quote.
How long will my shipment take?
It depends on the mode, route, carrier schedules and clearance. Air freight is usually measured in days and sea freight in weeks. Your quote includes an estimated timeline, not a guarantee.
Updates and delivery
How do I get an update on my shipment?
Use the shipment update form with your Funteg reference, bill of lading or air waybill number. Our operations team checks the latest status and replies by your preferred method. Outside office hours, operational support is available for active shipments.
Do you offer warehousing?
Yes. Funteg provides secure warehousing and distribution from Lagos.
Can you deliver anywhere in Nigeria?
Funteg coordinates road delivery throughout Nigeria using its own trucks and transport partners, subject to confirmation for each route and shipment.
